Tribute to Steve Jobs

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.” [Steve Jobs – Stanford commencement speech, June 2005]

  1. AM,
    I am truly enjoying following your process, thanks for opening up your ideas for us to read on the blog. And thanks for sharing all of your insights and inspirations.
    I first saw Jobs Stanford address on TED.com last year and really enjoyed it. There are a lot of other inspiring videos there, here are a few of my favorites: http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/derek_sivers_how_to_start_a_movement.html ;

    If it is your goal, then I hope to hear you speak publicly, maybe even on TED.
    Best,

    • SC,
      Thank you for checking out my blog! It was great to see you the other day and to briefly catch up. I am definitely going to check out TED.com. I had never heard of it until you mentioned it and then later that afternoon I was sitting in class and the instructor mentioned the same website! I am getting closer to determining my dream life, but I am pretty certain it will involve public speaking. I am glad you stopped by to hear my thoughts. 🙂
